The Mirror Revolution PLAYLIST

SECTION ONE: SEE

THE PRACTICE: PREPARING FOR YOUR MIRROR REVOLUTION

To get the most out of your mirror practices, you’ll want to create your sacred space. This is an area you will set up with your mirror that feels completely private and safe. 

If you live with other people, this could be a corner of your bedroom with a lock on the door so that you can ensure you won’t be disturbed. What’s most important is that you feel secure to go deep within yourself. 

I've recorded a short guided meditation for you to tap into the frequency of the space you are creating. All you will need is a quiet place to listen and a device to play the recording. Afterwards, use the reflection prompts in your book to help curate your sacred space.

PART ONE: The Mirror Revolution

THE PRACTICE: SELF EYE GAZING

Set up your sacred space with a full/half length mirror. Ensure there is space for you to sit on the ground in front of it, with a journal close by. When you’re ready, listen to the 15-minute guided practice below.

Remember, anything that comes up during this practice is perfect. Be gentle on your heart and practice offering yourself loving compassion.

THE PRACTICE: HOLDING SPACE FOR YOURSELF

This practice is simple and incredibly effective; the more you practice this small gesture of self-love, the more natural it will become. 

As you move through the guided meditation, go slow and be gentle on your heart. If it feels supportive, come back to this practice again over the coming weeks, and notice what arises. Every experience with yourself will be completely different.

THE PRACTICE: YOUR FIRST DATE

Plan your first date using the guide in the book.

Once you’ve created the plan for your date, listen to the following meditation to connect with the energy you’d like to experience. 

Honour the time you’ve carved out for yourself. Unless something important gets in the way and you need to reschedule, hold true to this commitment.

Throughout the week and on the day of your date, make sure to ask yourself “what do I want?” and ensure you are giving yourself exactly what that is.

WHAT YOU NEED:

This is an opportunity to connect with your body, and awaken deeper levels of pleasure and love. When you're ready, complete this practice in your sacred space in front of a mirror. Choose an outfit that feels sexy and comfortable, and offers direct access to your skin (loose garments, underwear, lingerie or naked).

Following the practice, I invite you to take a few moments to free-flow journal. Write in the form of a paragraph, a poem, or just a few words to reflect on the experience.

If it feels right, I then invite you to explore the prompts shared in the book.

Once you’ve reflected on these prompts, move into the Unlocking Your Inner Song meditation. This is where it gets really fun!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

Make sure you are in a quiet and private space, such as your sacred space or a parked car. You will be singing out loud, so ensure you are somewhere you feel comfortable to do so. Have at least 15 minutes carved out to complete this practice uninterrupted.

Note: If you feel comfortable, use your voice notes app or another method to record this entire meditation. It can be extremely powerful to go back and listen to the songs that came through. No one needs to hear these recordings; they are just for you.

After the practice, complete the journal prompts listed in the book around your singing experience.

THE MIRROR REVOLUTION

This is how you see yourself clearly. Between the golden glow and the light of the moon, drinking cup after cup of a potion infused with rose and honey. Wearing silk or satin or lace. Gently caressing your body and the places in your heart that no one has ever dared to go. Watching your skin glow beneath the candle light. Your eyes are cat-like and you gaze into them, seeing the entire world for the first time again. Everything looks different. You write yourself love letters that make you hum with glee, put them in envelopes, lick the paper shut, and then mail them to your future self. You dance around in circles until you’re dizzy and the world looks small, then fall to the ground, feeling the soft rug caress your back. Your body is tingling and you are awakening and life has never felt so alive. You couldn’t go back now—to the place where love was a question, because you feel it so clearly—there is nothing you ever needed outside of yourself
